解說二	(Heb.—al-mon& hidden), one of the three cities which belonged to the priests in the tribe-ang3;min (Josh. xxi:18). It is supposed to be the same as the Alemeth of I Chron. vi:60. Jarchi and Kimchi identify it with Baharim, which name the Taxam (2 Sam. iii:16) renders by Almeth--both words signify 'youth'. The site is unknown. P & C B E, p. 86.
